The creative and cultural industries are of vital importance to the UK economy and society.

Stepping into the cultural sector

Following the immense challenges posed by the Covid 19 pandemic, the sector developed novel ways to reach audiences and there is a continuous drive to widen participation in the sector.

The UK government has invested significantly into this area to explore new forms of immersive story telling in the fields of art, culture, heritage and entertainment and to support projects in sectors including games, fashion and textiles.

We have worked with a range of organisations including National Museums Liverpool, Science Museums Group and national charity The Reader organisation to understand the key challenges and opportunities their respective sectors are facing, the roles that are important to them now and the key mindsets that will help them thrive in the future.

Exploring the video interviews and case studies below will give you the opportunity to understand key developments relating to working in the cultural sector.
