The PI Network
The PI network provides a forum for managers of researchers to share best practice around postdoc career development. The PI Network is open to the whole sector. Anybody who manages researchers is welcome to attend any session – no matter what discipline or career stage they're at. Sessions are held online and are completely free. Learn more about the PI Network here.
HEIs are invited to pitch and lead a PI Network session. If you have an idea for a session you would like to run, get in touch at prosper.postdoc@liverpool.ac.uk
You can find information about upcoming sessions on our events page, and by signing up to the mailing list.
“It’s important to share and learn different ways of enhancing the way that you support development of postdocs.”
Prof Bhavik Patel, Prof of Clinical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, University of Brighton

About the PI network
The Prosper PI Network was launched in September 2020, with the aim of providing a platform for managers of researchers and principal investigators to support the career development of their research staff, by sharing best practice and providing peer support and resources.
Originally limited to Prosper’s three partner institutions during its development phase, the PI Network is now open to all managers of researchers across the UK.
Sessions run approximately every two months, are held online and free to register/attend. They address topics relevant to managers of researchers specifically, and offer the opportunity to interact with peers for shared learning.
